My passion is to be useful and to share information that can be handy and inspiring. This is the main goal of Kateryna Yachts & Travel. I hope those who’ve never chartered a crewed yacht will find all the answers to this exciting and sometimes long process.

Hiring a boat is a very precious process and it does need an expert eye. It is as if you’re directing a movie and want every detail to be perfect. So I hope through my articles you’ll learn many details at which to pay attention. Of course, I’m always around to help and assist you with every step when it comes to choosing the right yacht, the right destination and planning a perfect, cinematographic experience.

For examples, here I speak about rate details, what’s included, what’s excluded in the yacht charter rate, what to do with the itinerary if you want to visit both - secluded places and party spots, when is the best time to visit specific islands or how to delivery exclusive wines to your yacht on time, how to organize an amazing romantic getaway and much more.

I work as a yacht charter & travel advisor in the international yacht charter company with offices in Turkey and Australia. I assist in choosing the right yacht, booking it and I help with creating a tailor-made itinerary for the route. I also write articles, share my photos & videos from the yachting world.
I live in Turkey. Before moving to this amazing country, I’ve worked and studied in the U.S., Italy, and Germany.
In this blog I share my personal travel experience in Turkey, not because Turkey is one of the most popular yacht travel destinations, but because it has so much to offer to travelers who come here. I’m infinitely in love with this country.
I am an ex-journalist. Before joining the yachting industry I’ve worked as a journalist and produced material for different themes: international news, special historical & analytical reports, food & travel, interviews, and much more. This work experience taught me to make sure that the information should be accurate and up-to-date as much as possible.
I’ve also worked as a hostess on one of the best gulets in Turkey back in 2010 and 2011. I discovered the whole Turkish coast and visited some Greek islands. I learnt so much about the needs and preferences of the guests onboard, about a yacht charter itself, and now I know what to pay attention at when it comes to inspect the yacht, talk to the crew and share this information with clients.
I’ve graduated from the European School of Economics in Milan with BA in International Business. I’m so grateful for this experience as it made me an open-minded person and taught me so much about international life and communication with people.
My father and my brother are both sea captains working for big cargo ships. This is where my passion for the sea and sea vessels come from.
My mother is the most amazing person and teacher for me who taught me to be professional, respect others, love life and people around, to be responsible and to be a good person.
In high school I dreamt of becoming a president. That didn’t happen, and I’m sure that’s a good thing.
I am happy that each year yachting holidays become more and more popular and affordable. And I’m happy to share all my knowledge about this way to spend a vacation.
