What is the best hotel located on Bodrum Peninsula in Turkey? I think it's not that easy to answer this questions. There are several truly gorgeous, expensive and beautiful places on the seaside, and it's literally impossible to choose only one. It is because they are all very different - their design, philosophy, guests who stay there, services they offer, rates, etc. What about Maca Kizi, Amanruya, Mandarin Oriental? If I really must make some choices when selecting the best out of the best, then I'd go with these three. Yet, I emphasize - all of them are very different.

In spring, my colleague and I were on a sightseeing tour around Mandarin Oriental Bodrum. We arrived there to see the property and understand where our yacht guests usually stay before or after hiring a yacht in Turkey.
Well, what can I say? This is an island of luxurious Turkey on the Aegean coast. It is the winner of prestigious awards, and an incredibly beautiful place where you can feel peace and tranquility. Mandarin Oriental itself is a world famous brand that is over 50 years old. The first hotel of the future mega chain was opened in 1963 in Hong Kong.
I really love these kind of places for the atmosphere that they offer. Silence, positive and some kind of slow energy, a lot of wood and greenery, the sea, tranquility, service, care and the absence of noise, rush, unnecessary sounds and screams.

Guests can stay in the hotel all the time recharging their batteries or easily reach beautiful bays located near, go to Golturkbuku in the evening or travel to the world-famous Yalikavak superyacht marina - both, for shopping and dining.

The rates for rooms at the hotel vary from 600 to 6000 Euro per night. Accommodation at Mandarin Oriental Bodrum Villas costs 7000 - 15000 Euro per night. The price also goes above for these facilities.
When you visit Mandarin Oriental Bodrum's official webpage, you see the advertising photos. Be sure that they show the rooms exactly as they are in reality. If we could bring them to live you'd hear the singing of birds, the noise of leaves and the sounds of the sea. This would give you a clearer idea why travelers from all over the world come there.
You can assume that famous people, celebrities, businessmen and businesswomen choose this hotel for their holiday. And you wouldn't be wrong. Every year more and more famous people come here and discover "Azure" Turkey for themselves. Later they choose to come here again and again. As this coastline deserves to be loved and appreciated.

Would I like to stay in one of the hotel rooms? Definitely yes. But I'm not sure yet - in a usual room, apartment or in a large villa. Probably it would be a villa for all my family and friends.
